About

The course focuses on theories and practices for approaching design problems of interactive media holistically, beyond usability and accessibility. The class aims to develop your appreciation for facilitating user's (rather than designer's) experience of interactive media including how to design for it and how to evaluate it. The course will focus on storytelling, sketching, and communication of design ideas within a design team and to potential users. The class includes hands-on learning, application of design and evaluation skills in group projects, and peer critique.
